Shut down of Tasmanian Greyhound Racing

The petition of the undersigned residents of Tasmania draws to the attention of the House that Premier, Jeremy Rockliff, told greyhound racing participants that his government supported their industry before the election, before announcing he would shut it down only weeks later.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House calls on the Government to abandon the shut down of greyhound racing. Instead, work with the greyhound community to build an even better, stronger racing code that loves and cares for its animals
